Dogs XL Rescue is an All volunteer non-profit Rescue. We depend on YOUR GENEROSITY to help us do what we do best, which is SAVING LIVES! We strive to meet the needs of each of our dogs that we have pulled to safety whether it involves veterinary bills, training/behavioral specialists or boarding. Occasionally, one dog can have extensive funding needs costing hundreds to thousands of dollars while they are in our care. We are able to meet their needs only because of people like YOU!

Sweet Daisy Mae - Shot in the Head!
Daisy Mae is headed up to the Baltimore area this weekend!
It is bittersweet for all of us at Dogs XL because we are excited to have saved her and can't wait to give her the love she deserves, but sad because we know she is in pain.
Its hard to imagine anyone doing this, but someone shot Daisy Mae in the head. Miraculously she survived. However, she still has the bullet and multiple bone fragments in her head behind her eye.
Daisy Mae is happy and loves to play, but when these fragments move in her head, she is in extreme pain and her vision and function is temporary affected.
Daisy Mae is from Louisiana but unfortunately, they are not able to find the proper care for her for her extreme injury. We knew it wouldn't be easy, but we had to help her! She will be transported to the Baltimore are with the help of NUMEROUS volunteers so Dogs XL can do their best to get her the help she needs. This will involve multiple doctors opinions, neurologists, and most likely surgery.
Please consider donating. The neurological surgery that is being proposed will cost upwards of $5000! Can you help Daisy Mae get her life back? We can not do it without you! Please click here to donate to be a partner with Dogs XL with giving Daisy Mae her life back!
